Priyanka Chopra Ready For Three New Film
>> 4.7.09
Actress Priyanka Chopra has created history in Bollywood by signing a three-film deal with a leading film production company.
Priyanka Chopra has never been noted for her acting skills - at best, she has been a sidekick in hero-oriented movies, and has not tackled a complex role in any Bollywood film yet. However, the actress is known to be quite a diplomat, always staying on the right side of the movers and shakers in the Hindi film industry. However, she has her share of fans, and has never been a risk in your regular commercial Bollywood movie.
UTV Motion Pictures, one of the largest production houses in India, has signed the deal with Priyanka Chopra, which would be for a period of over four years. The deal allows the actress to participate in the creative areas of the films, including the shortlisting of scripts and genres.
Priyanka said: “I’m very excited about my association with UTV. This association presents an amazing opportunity for me to work in a challenging, creative environment with some of the best minds in the industry. There are no binding conditions in the contract. I will have the full freedom to choose scripts, directors and even the technicians.”
Priyanka Chopra has achieved a great deal in Bollywood in a rather short span of time. Her two recent hits were Krrish and Don and her forthcoming ventures are Drona and Love Story 2050.
Priyanka Chopra’s co-stars Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have been earlier offered such multiple film corporate contracts but they did not work out.
